Why

These recommendations grow out of my own walk with Christ. Each book, sermon, or tool is rooted in Scripture, exalts Jesus, and has genuinely helped me love God and His people more.

I recommend any respected and reliable study Bible, in a version that is fitting for you. I would consider avoiding The Message, and The Passion Translation, (or any Paraphrase version) for personal study.

I realize not everyone accepts Christianity and that many sincerely hold to other religions, or no religion at all. If that is you, I hope that this would be a site where you can come to gain an understanding of why Christians believe what they believe, say the things they say, and do the things they do.
